Year Of The Rat

rat ornament

Normally rats dancing on the corn would be a bad thing, however the vermin are getting the star treatment in China because next year is the year of the rat. With the sagging economy here in the New York, the city government should be heavily promoting tourism from China for the New Year event. Every year is the year of the rat over here. via Chinanews

Art History Via Giraffes

Rembrandt giraffe

If giraffes had been our forebearers instead of monkeys this is what our art history books would look like. These folks covered everything from Durer to Rembrandt to Van Gogh to Pop Art in this inspired portfolio.

Secret Messages On Cola Cans?

I came across this posting on alternative news site - Rumor Mill News

The new Coke diet drink cans…Coke Zero, if you look close enough you will see the twin towers and also a hooded figure with a remote control device, kneeling down.

Pepsi however has got the Pepsi zero symbol with the numbers 737/747 streamlined across their cans…as in the boeings!!??

I will be stopping by the convenience store to further investigate this today, if anyone out there has some info - leave a comment.
