New Yo Gabba Gabba Toys and Apparel From Kidrobot

Muno, Foofa, Brobee, Toodee and Plex from Yo Gabba Gabba are ready to come home with you thanks to Kidrobot. Now you can actually get the toys from inside the hip hop genie’s boombox at the beginning of the show. This is almost as cool as when Pee Wee’s Playhouse toys came out, and that’s pretty cool. Kidrobot is also releasing some fine Yo Gabba Gabba inspired apparel, more about that after the video. video link
I am really liking the Muno hoodie from the Kidrobot Loves Yo Gabba Gabba apparel line. Hope in comes in an xl! That’s that!, now you know where you’re getting everyone’s Christmas presents. Check out the official Kidrobot announcement.

All this Yo Gabba Gabba goodness coming this November from Kidrobot

I’m in love with this stuff! but it’s so expensive! I have a husband and three kids that want it! too bad it’s not a little cheaper

kidrobot caters to the high-end consumer, the upside is the stuff is usually a limited edition that becomes more valuable after it sells out.

Dang, these toys are expensive!! I don’t know how many “high end” 2 year old consumers you know, but all of them I know tend to chew and slobber all over their toys. Should I encourage him to keep it in the original packaging so he can sell it for college tuition in 18 years?

The problem is these items are soooo expensive!! Its actually ridiculous!
The cost to produce one of those t-shirts isnt that much.. Yes please make a profit (after all you are running a business But why try to make a complete killing)??
Its a shame cause i will now bad mouth the show

This is crazy. I’ll wait until after Christmas and the price will come down. Just like any other toy.

Yeah, Agreed. Too expensive for my 2 yr old. I couldn’t possibly hand her the box & tell her NOT to play with the doll just because it MIGHT BE a collector’s item someday. Honestly, With the U.S. dollar worth very little and the country in a recession-I don’t know how anybody justifies $26+ per doll. Even the ones listed on EBAY aren’t selling for face value.

Expensive, yes. However we bought Brobee for our 2yr old daughter for christmas, and it has pretty much made all her other gifts obsolete. She has yet to put it down. Very well made too.

We bought the Plex and Brobee for our sons (ages 4 & 6) and BOTH were broken in about 20 minutes! These are NOT dolls to be played with and loved - they are “collectors” items that are to stay in the box and put on a shelf. What a waste of money, but even more so what a waste of a toy that could have been REALLY fun.

These toys are not only expensive, they are made terribly. My kids (5 and 2) received Foofa and Plex for xmas and they broke instantly out of the box. Plex’s antennae broke as well as the door to his gear box and Foofa’s flower snapped off when my daughter dropped her on tile. However, I did email kidrobot and told them of the problems and they sent me two replacements. Customer service was good. If in question, I would wait until they have plush versions b/c these are not kid friendly enough for the average kid!
