Headless Women and Dancing Skeletons

Straight outta Japan! Girls taking off their heads, skeletons dancing and a salute to Thriller for your viewing pleasure. The Clip contains is an enlivened demonstration of a puppeteering method called Black Art. The positioning of the lighting and flat black color used in the head-to-toe outfits and backgrounds allow for a fun time via puppetry. youtube video link

Cereal Killers is a blog that specializes in spooky and/or messed up cereal box art and the selection in this off-beat supermarket is amazing. Now you know what Jason, Freddy and Leatherface eat for breakfast. The Cthulhu Crunch is my favorite brand so far, fun stuff.

If You Want To Have Fun And Stay Alive

Just to let you know at least one kid gets electrocuted and there is some vandalism and fire-lighting in this film. A cartoon owl and his bird friend teach kids about the dangers of power lines. They say it best.

If you want to have fun and stay alive
Stay away from overhead power lines.

Cthulhu In A Jar

cthulu in a jar

This Cthulhu in a jar is part of a larger piece by steampunk artist Alex cf.. The Cthulhu Specimen Box is an incredibly detailed hand-made work of steampunkish genius. If you like this kinda stuff, this guy is up in the top ten.

contained in the box are a series of bottled samples, rock samples, detailed notes, mad ramblings, diagrams, maps, a directional compass, compass, pencil, and of course the spawn of Cthulhu, sealed within a specimen jar.

Pricasso

Pricasso

Pricasso forgoes the painter’s brush and his clothes to work his magic. He paints the globally powerful with his schween and if that don’t make you chuckle, I don’t know what will.
